Uplift our spirits

My husband has really had a lot to deal with lately. He had to surrender his truck due to financial problems, he isn’t getting any overtime at work, and just this past week had his personal and our banking info taken off an Internet scam. I just ask for prayers for uplifting of his spirit. That he turns to God during these troubled times, instead of away. Seeing him suffer emotionally, mentally, and physically the way he has in the last month makes me fear he is turning from God’s guidence and love. I just Pray God brings him through this safely and more Godly than he was before.

  1. Trust in the Lord and do the right things, don’t rely on your own understanding, and acknowledge that He is in control = He will direct (and straighten) your path forward. That’s a promise for anyone, Christian or not. Ask Him for wisdom, and believe that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, and He will provide help in times of trouble.

  2. It is time for our Nation to get on their knees. The struggle are far and wide and affecting everyone. I pray you and your husband find a way to totally give your all to the Lord because it will not be an easy walk. My husband turned from God and is walking a path that is in the opposite direction and we divorced because he was not willing to turn around. I pray for the strength of God to show him He is the way, the truth, and the life, that should be pursued by both of you TOGETHER!! Keep praying for him and pray this simple prayer: ‘Abba, we belong to you”….. He will be there for you no matter what. God Bless you and God Bless our Nation…

  3. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” Jeremiah 17:9-10 NIV.
Proverbs 2:6 – 8 For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity,

  4. Trust in the Lord and he will provide guidence and wisdom, just do not ever give up and God will lead you in the right direction.Be patient and pray

  5. Dusti, just keep praying to the Father, that he will show you how to talk to your husband, and that he is the answer to everything in your lives. May God bless you in Jesus precious name. Amen

  6. Dusti, Romans 8:28 says ” And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”…… If you are a believer and love God He’s promised to be with you always and nothing comes your way that catches the Lord by suprise neither does it puzzle Him.

Lord I pray that you may direct and grant wisdom to my sister’s husband as he goes through this trying moment, grant Dusti her desire to see her husband come out of all this with a stronger faith and trust in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

  7. Dusti,
As I was reading you prayer request, I started thinking about the “Footprints in the sand”……… just know that it’s when times are rough that God is carrying each of us…..have faith and never give because God will NEVER give up on you and your husband

  8. your husband destiny is greater than his storm God is Able just have fait and trust him in his own time his will will be done

  9. I pray that all these things that are happening to him will turn him to God, and not away from Him. That your husband will feel the clutch of God upon his life and embrace His goodness. And that God will show Himself strong on his behalf, and that he will develop an intimate relationship with Father- in Jesus’ name.

May he find peace in God and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding shall keep his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May he find his peace and all in all in Christ Jesus!

  10. My sister, I believe you already know what the word of God says in Joel 2v 25. Meditate on it and see what God will do in your life and that of your husband. He is more than whatever challenges you may be facing right now. I pray for your heaven to be open to you now. That God will release His anointing upon you so much that all these challenges would be rolled away in Jesus name, amen.

  11. Amen! So shall it be in Jesus name. The Lord shall strengthen you and your husband throughout this trying period. It is well.

  12. Hi Dusti,

I know all too well suffering emotionally, mentally, and physically in trouble times. I had lost my job and was on unemployment for two years. My husband was cheating and using me in trying to get a green card, I had to use my savings, my car was taken, I lost my hair, and I was evicted out of my apartment. I thought as a Christian I had done something terribly wrong. I cried out for many days and nothing was happening. I had lost hope and faith and my sorrow became anger. It felt like God had abandoned me. But the truth was that God had not abandoned me and it was nothing I had done wrong. Sometimes bad things happen. I finally sat on my bed and looked out the window and up to God and cried out. I admitted to him that I was angry and asked him to forgive me. I talked to him as friend about how I felt about my husband’s cheating and trying to use my name to obtain a green card. I explain how I felt as the sole provider for my son and unable to find a job that would hire me. I talk to God about everything.

God knows what is right for you and your husband. He will allow things to happen not when we feel it should come, but when God feels it is the right the time. I pray that your husband will keep his head up because there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am living proof of that. Despite the trouble times that I did face, I have a job, a car, hair, and will have my divorce final in two weeks. I hope that this inspires you and your husband to pray to God together and not lose faith. God knows what we need when we need it and He does not fail.

    Heavenly and Most Gracious Father,

I pray that you will give Dusti and her family the strength to endure the troubled times that they are facing. I pray that you will bring about a hedge of protection around Dusti and her family and surround them with your love. Father, you are tremendously wonderful and we thank you and love you for each opportunity you give us to change something about ourselves every day. Help us to be more like you in mind, body, and spirit. AMEN.

  13. LORD, I hope and prayed that YOU put YOUR HEALING,HELPING and BLESSING HANDS around Dusti and her husband and her family! IN JESUS NAME We Pray! AMEN
